Qian Li joined Studio Link-Arc in 2019 as a Partner at Link-Arc’s Shanghai office. He has been led the design of multiple large-scale institutional and cultural projects, including: the Wenzhou Qidu School, Shanghai Jiading School, Yancheng International Youth Exchange Center, and the Chengdu Dong’an Lake Opera House and Culture Center. He also works closely with Link-Arc’s New York office on competitions, proposals, and commissions.
Qian received a BArch Degree from Tsinghua University in China and a MArch Degree from Cornell University. He is a licensed architect in New York State, and has over fifteen years professional experience in designing and managing various project typologies including urban mixed-use, commercial and institutional projects. Between 2003 and 2009, Qian worked as a project designer and project manager at Ehrenkrantz Eckstut & Kuhn, where he played key roles in many important projects, including: Shanghai North Bund International Shipping Service Center, Las Vegas CityCenter, and the Houston Intermodal Exchange Center. Between 2010 and 2013, Qian was a senior architect at Diller Scofidio + Renfro, where he was responsible for the Dissona Work Live Complex from concept design to construction administration. Since 2015, Qian Li has taught architectural design studios at Shenzhen University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
