John Brewer is a Senior Associate with Studio Link-Arc. John has worked on a wide range of building types over his 20 years in practice. His professional experience includes: cultural projects including museums and performance spaces; institutional commissions including educational buildings, research labs, and hospitals; and major commercial projects including the reconfiguration of Brookfield Place (formerly known as the World Financial Center).
Mr. Brewer studied engineering and physics at Purdue University before entering architecture. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Art from Portland State University and a Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania. He is currently involved in the design, coordination, and technical resolution for the Luhu Cultural Center in Shenzhen. In addition, he provides technical and management oversight for multiple projects in the office and is also engaged in a design competition for the Shenzhen International Performance Center project.
